  1. I am choosing between intel 8700k, 9700k and 9900k (and eventually AMD 3700x, 3800x …) for use primarily for AutoCAD Civil 3D. There will be some pix4d and other programs. Can you help me to choose.

  2. I totally was looking forward to the 3rd Gen Ryzen Cpu´s so i can sell my 8700k … but its not worth to change for a few fps difference. Although my 8700k runs very hot.. i still stick with it for the winter 🙂

  3. Wait a second.. The i7-8700k costs more than the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X even if it is not as good as it? :c (got the i7-8700k and a 1050ti because I am dumb)

  4. I like how every performance comprassion is graphs without head to head with RivaRuner comprassion. This seems a little fishy.

  5. 3700x is cheaper and comes with a cooler . But whats interesting is that intel is staying quiet . If AMD took so long to catch up and intel was in the lead , surely the next generation will destroy 3rd gen ryzen . So maybe thats a reason to wait for 10th gen … unless its a refresh again

  6. Is gigabyte X470 enough for rx 5700xt and ryzen 7 3700x build ? In my country both CPU and gfx card is 100$ pricier than its actual value . so Im confused !
Is there will be any difference between new x570 and 470 ?

  7. Both CPUs can be Overclocked. None of them are in this test though.
While you can get a huge boost from 8700K by Overclocking, you don't get much from 3700X.
Because 3700X at stock is not much better than 8700K, when Overclocking, the 3700X is going to be left behind.
This is why 8700K is still better for gaming. No one is buying this CPU to use it at stock when it can easily go 5GHz+

  8. This results simply show that your two comparison systems are bottle necked somewhere. You'd probably get the same results for an Intel i5. To properly test just the CPU (for gaming) you should reduce the resolution to 720. Ideally you should also show the details of both systems, RAM speeds etc. Better still have a range of the new AMD processors plus the older 2700X and then compare against the say an i5 9600, the i7 9700 and perhaps the the i7 9900k. To make it really interesting then perhaps have a few older processors that were really popular ie the i5 2500K, an i5 3570k and the i7 4790K – that way we can also see whether it's worth upgrading.

  9. There is a huge problem with this test. Non of these CPUs will give you it's maximum performance with an GTX 1080 or GTX 1080TI. Although, the AMD cpu win clearly.

  10. cant decide if i wanna go 9700k or the 3800x for straight up gaming never streaming or anything like that, what do u think from what we know so far

  11. Here's another one I want to see: 3700x vs 3800x (and 3700x vs 3800x vs 3900x) and 2600x vs 3700x and 2600x vs 3800x

  12. So coming from i7 8700 will not benefit my gaming? Sadly i only use my pc for gaming and i dont have a choice because i already sold my 8700 and z370 now im gonna spent around 600$ here in my country to get an x570 and 3700x
