** TIP FOR GAMERS **

If you’re after a gaming laptop and are considering the AERO 15 I recommend going with a 1080p IPS panel instead that runs at 144Hz or even at 240Hz – you will enjoy your gaming experience a whole lot more 🙂

  1. What is your current Video Editing / VFX setup – and how does it perform?

  2. Great review mate! I just bought it with the same exact specs. Did you figure which ram is good to upgrade it at 32gb? Did you find the official ram list on gigabyte website? I cannot find this list and also its not listed th current model we have. Crucial ram will work fine? I'm a 3d Animator and a photographer, I switched from a beast Alienware 17 r4 to this. I hope I'll not be disappointed

  3. Dell XPS has not NVIDIA studio driver? does the Aero 15 with the GTX GPU support the new drivers? or only the RTX version?

  4. Thanks for the great review.
I was just wondering if it comes with an anti-glare screen option as I hate glossy screens with reflections.

  5. What do you think about durability? With that time of use would you believe that the screen or any part of the laptop could give some problems in the future?

  6. I'm looking for a laptop for my 4k video editing, after effects work and general content creation. I have a budget of around £1500. What laptop and which configurations would you recommend? Thanks.

  7. I love your videos, and I learnt a lot from it. It is always my dream to replace my editing machine to a powerful one.

  8. Thank you for the video. If I want to work (maybe advertising and illustration) and play video games most of the time at home with this laptop, with the 1080p IGZO panel, do you think this is a good option? or Which laptop would you recommend?

  9. Can you say me I have desktop
for VFX specially software like Maya cinema 4D aftereffects upgrading desktop is better or buying the laptop on the same price 🙂

  10. @Surfaced Studio Richtig tolles Video!

  11. Hi! I was wondering if you could make a low budget-oriented hardware recommendation video for general use 3D software and video editing (C4D, Blender, AE). Recently I've been checking Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 5 2600 reviews as they both seem like a good deal.

Would those CPU's be enough in terms of performance? I'm getting started on 3D and VFX so I'm no professional and could handle render times, but would like smooth performance (scrubbing, effects, preview of the project, modeling) I currently have a AMD A9-9420 laptop with radeon R5 integrated graphics with 4GB of RAM, it gets sluggish with Blender and sometimes even Photoshop. My main focus would be doing 3D Modeling and Motion Graphics but no 4K editing. Here's what I'm planning to buy.

    The Specs:

    CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    (or 2600)
    GPU – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB // AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB
    RAM – Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2x8gb) DDR4-3200 Mhz
    MOBO – MSI B450M Bazooka V2
    HDD – Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM

    SSD – Crucial MX500 500GB M.2 SSD
    PSU – Cooler Master V2 650W 80+Plus Bronze PSU

CASE – Deciding currently between white cases

Might upgrade in the future, but nothing guarantees that I work on this computer in particular or in an office which already has one. That's the main reason I'm not overspending, but I would like your thoughts or if you have worked on a similar build. And, is there any noticeable, real world difference in performance aside from charts and benchmarks that Intel has over AMD in VFX?

  12. Hello how do I color calibrate my laptop?
My rendered footage looks different in comparison between my screen and couple of other screens I tested.
    Thanks for the review 🙂

  13. Hi
