  1. Hey Scott! Thanks for the extremely helpful video!
I'm searching for a 5 inch monitor for my GH5( mostly for handheld shots). That is why, I will bother you with some questions 🙂
Between the MA5 and the Fotga A50T, wich one would you choose? Are they both equally reflective? How about the "extra weight" of the fotga against MA5 for handheld? Does it make a significantly difference?
Thank you once again for the video and for your whole channel 🙂

  2. hey great review could u please tell me if 3d lut is on is on also seen on hdmi output, im thinking to use my old bmpcc with this monitor for livestream together with new blackmagic atem mini so this is only way i can color grade the image;) thank u in advance;)

  3. I've read that hdmi in, sdi out doesn't work. Is that the case? That's important for me because most director monitors come with sdi in. And converting hdmi to sdi out is a pain.

  4. Exactly the insight I needed – Thank you 🙂 A Brilliant+ insightful, formidably-researched superbly presented mini-vid', (Of the catch you out a lot sort) Thanks 🙂 and to others 🙂 please hit that little bell so you get email advises of any new vids' – I previously forgot 😉

  5. Hey! How would you compare this to the Portkeys LH5T? Seems like they have pretty similar features. Is build quality comparable? Thanks!

  6. When I use this monitor with my Fujifilm X-T2 (via HDMI), the monitor gets quite hot after about ten minutes of recording (brightness turned up to about 50%). Is this normal, or something I should be worried about? The latest software removed the option to have the fan automatically turn on, so you can only manually turn it on or off. However, when recording with the fan on, the noise of the fan gets picked up by my microphone, so I obviously prefer to record with the fan off.

  7. Hello, thx for the review. I would like to know, when you are using SDI input, is it possible to get an image threw HDMI output at the same time. Maybe want to use it with an Accsoon transmiter at the same time.

  8. Hey Scott, between the Fotga A50 and Portkeys BM5, in your opinion is the BM5 worth the extra cost? I'm looking at the Touch/Non-SDI 5" version for both. Also how do the sizes compare? The A50 looks a lot wider than the BM5 judging from the thicker bezels.

  9. Hi
I have a question for you.
I am trying to buy an A50TLS monitor, but I want to ask the user to change the input signal during the function of this monitor
ex. hdmi in -> sdi out
    sdi in -> hdmi out
Please convert each input signal so that you can output it !!
    Thank you
Thank you for your hard work

  10. thanks for this review. I'm a bit surprised there is not that much testing on this monitor online.
could you share what is the right angled HDMI cable you're using with the ZCAM?

  11. I want to know about the latency ?
i found no info online, is it useable with stabilizers ?
how much latency does it have with HDMI ?
