  1. What laptop do you have right now? 🤔

CORRECTION 1: Undervolting won't damage your laptop, but can cause BSODs and crashes. Generally -100mv is safe)

CORRECTION 2: It was actually a crappy Killer WiFi chip on the 9570, I replaced it with a good Intel chip. My mistake! But the Killer chip here works well.

  2. …THANK YOU! …which Laptop would could you recomment for 4k Videoediting / Rendering with a 400-500 nit (cd/m²) Display for outdoor sunlight? A Notebook which is also usable in TROPIC Areas like Malaysia, Philipines or PapuaNG?

  3. Hey great review. I got myself an XPS15 with the spec you recommend recently on the back of it.

You mention upgrading the RAM from 16gb to 32gb. I have seen your other video and the recommended RAM isn’t available on Amazon. What RAM would you recommend to upgrade the new XPS15

  4. It really is complicated to choose between all the different options.. I'm an Urban Planning student and we use programs like Sketch Up, Auto Cad and Adobe's Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. And often we have them all open at the same time. My little MacBook Air that I bought back in 2013 isn't even able to run one of these properly. Can anyone tell me which XPS 15 model should I choose?

  5. My Dell XPS that I bought in March, 2019 is still sitting unused in my basement. Failed SD card. Failed mainboard. Failed fingerprint reader. Do not buy.

  6. I got myself the Inspiron 15 7590 with an i7 9750H, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD, 4k IPS screen and the GTX1650. What can I say – so glad I didn't go for the XPS. Perfect machine for me and my 3rd Dell computer already. If you are looking for a great Windows laptop – I think this is it. Exactly the same specs as the XPS but around 500 EUR / GBP cheaper.

  7. hi, does anyone here have a serious banding issue and bad mid-tones in Dell XPS 15? It was a recommended laptop for photo and video editing, 4k display, awesome colours hurray, but stuff like that happens. I have BIOS and drivers up to date, downloaded Dell PremierColor, intel graphics settings and nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix this or have better laptop in mind? Thanks a lot

  8. I'd use this for gaming, but unfortunately it's not possible to get the i5 processor with anything but 8GB of RAM and the 256GB SSD :/
I have this model from it's first year in 2015-2016 and it's great

  9. Is it worth it to upgrade to the 4k display? I use premiere pro every day for work but my concern is if it will dramatically effect the battery life

  10. I wanted to buy the i7-Version – but it is not available in Luxembourg with the 4K – IPS Screen.

Is the i9 worse then the i7 or just “not better”. Then I could live with it.

Can termal throttling be reduced with a laptop cooling pad?

  11. Happy to see that my last years investment was a good one… would love to see a review of the p1 from Lenovo

  12. Is there any throttling issues with video rendering when using Premiere pro? That's all I'm really using it for not gaming. I'm literally a push of a button from making a $2500 purchase

  13. Hey Folks, does anyone else have terrible network issues with the 7590? My one loses the connection every few minutes. Furthermore it's a thermal catastrophe. i7-9 is way too hot only by reading the comments on this site..

  14. The Dell XPS 15's striking with that 4k OLED display having an Intel Core i9 CPU and GTX 1650 GPU. Wow, I'm amazed as its beauty and powerful setup. With most Dell XPS laptops, I'm sure it has excellent battery life.

Dell hasn't made much redesign for 4 years :-: Usually, they have weak audio and touchpad could be better imo.

  15. Everybody’s talking about undervolting here with the i9 it seems. But is throttling an issue with photo editing (which is all I want to do with this machine. Mine is maxed out like the reviewers)? Also would not an external eGPU take the load off the internal GPU cutting down temperature? And would that then reduce throttling as an issue under heavy load? I’m hoping I can get some replys here to help decide whether I should keep this machine. Thanks in advance.
