Acer Predator Triton 500 Review

Lisa Gade reviews the Predator Triton 500, Acer’s slim and light 15.6” gaming laptop with NVIDIA RTX graphics, both NVIDIA G-Sync and Optimus, and a 144Hz IPS display. The chill looking 4.63 lb / 2.1 kg black laptop with blue accents runs Windows 10 on the Intel Core i-8750H 6-core processor (9th gen i7-9750H also available), with your choice of NVIDIA RTX 2060, RTX 2070 Max-Q and RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics. It ships with 16GB or 32GB DDR4 26666 MHz RAM, RAID0 M.2 NVMe SSDs and a zone backlit keyboard. Street pricing is typically a bit below the direct competition- MSI GS65 Stealth Thin and Asus ROG Zephyrus S, and considerably less than the Razer Blade 15 Advanced.

  1. Finally a notebook I am interested in. But man that upside down motherboard just kills it. I suppose just spec it the way I want and call it a day.

  2. Can you this laptop I'm economically week …I want to be a gamer and youtuber….but I haven't enough money for buying laptop…😢😢😭

  3. Been seeing alot of complaints about the thermals of this laptop. Also been noticing its sold out everywhere. Its basically exactly the same as the msig65 stealth with worse thermals.

  4. The Aspire V15 Nitro also has the whole PITA style MB access, but as long as I get my new M.2 and RAM simultaneously, I`ll only need to get in there once.
Still, I`m VERY glad people put out guides on YT lol 🙂

  5. The screen goes fully black 1 week after you bought it. After 1 month the screen does not turn on any more. PURE GARBAGE DON'T BUY IT

  6. Just help me out here Im looking for a rtf 2060 laptop with really good thermals and good battery. Should i go with a Acer Helios 300 or the Trition 500 ?

  7. OOOH, interesting! I see WHY they flipped the mobo, I guess, but I wish they wouldn't have done that! Bummer! A lot of people buy gaming laptops BECAUSE they're serviceable! I mean, this one still is, technically, but not too well. lol. Awesome review! Love your shirt, too, as always!

  8. Man looks kinda nice and I do like Acer. But I really can't with trackpad that don't have their left and right click separate from the touchpad. And I really hate the idea of the power button been on the keyboard. Why they keep doing that? Never the less. Great review, as always. I enjoy just just watching the whole review even if I'm not interest on the product. XD I just love Lisa.
    Also, love the shirt. lol

  9. Watching this on my Triton 500 2060 model. Runs games like a charm but I'm dealing with a VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR which is ruining my gaming experience.
